Solar covers

For an outdoor pool, an essential is a solar cover. Able to carry out two major functions, the cover not only retains most of heat from the pool water which would otherwise be lost to evaporation, it also helps to increase the pool temperature through solar gain.

Unless you have a very small pool, we always recommend that you have fitted a floating leading edge for ease of rolling the cover on and off and a hemmed finish around the outside of your cover to help prolong the life and use of your cover.

We will advise on the most appropriate roller method for your cover dependent on your requirements and tastes.

Heat retention covers

To ensure minimum energy wastage and a pleasant indoor environment, a heat retention cover is a must. Produced from the best quality 5mm polyethylene material, all our covers are heat welded, hemmed and shaped to fit the exact size of your pool for maximum energy efficiency.

As with all our solar covers, we routinely visit you to measure for the cover required and deliver and fit the finished product.

95% of the heat retention covers we supply are pre-fitted with a floating leading edge allowing quick and easy one-person operation to put the cover on and off.

Winter covers

An essential for all outdoor pools, a winter cover helps prevent debris entering the pool during the winter months as well as any potential discolouration from leaves and other debris that may fall into the pool. The cover will also reduce the risk of frost damage to the pool underneath.

Manufactured from a woven polyethylene UV stabilised material, the covers are produced 1 foot larger than the pool perimeter and are held in place via “p” anchors and an integral stainless steel spring and slide bar buckle.
